More reports claim that Apple is going to release two iPhones in the next weeks: A totally redesigned major iPhone model with A5 chip and 8MP camera known as the iPhone 5 and the inexpensive handset for the masses named “iPhone 4-plus” which was previously name iPhone 4S.
The news comes from J.P. Morgan analyst Mark Moskowitz’s research which says that Apple will replace the $99 iPhone 3GS with a cheap iPhone 4 called the iPhone 4-plus. This iPhone 4-plus model will come with minor changes.
The iPhone 4-plus would target midrange smartphone buyers, particularly in emerging markets like China whose 1.33 billion population represents an untapped potential for the Cupertino, California firm:
