iOS 5 to have New Mac Lion Style Dashboard Notification Syste
WWDC 2011 is going to commence from 6th June at Moscone West in San Francisco.
Recent report claims that Apple is planning to launch iPhone 4S in WWDC as iPhone PR team of Apple from UK are inviting journalists from major publications to attend WWDC next month.
However, we know that no hardware will be released and WWDC 2011 is all about iOS 5 and Mac OS X Lion.
Techcrunch reports that Apple is planning to launch “completely revamped” notifications system and “widgets” which are going to be similar to Dashboard widgets in Mac OS X.
The other big news for iOS5 – and yes, I’ve completely buried the lede here, thanks for reading! – two things: completely revamped notifications and widgets.
Notification system of Apple has been criticized and Apple is testing iOS 5 for WWDC preview.
