Rumors about powring next generation of iPhone with A5 dual-core processor have now much prettey confirmed, as Apple has selected developers working on versions of its iPhone applications that take full advantage of the next-generation iPhone's speedier and much more powerful hardware.

Developers have been given iPhone 4 with A5 processor istead of an A4, the develpers calling it the iPhone 4S as it's identical to the iPhone 4.

These phones are simply prototype units for developers to get ready for the new phone, rumored to be launching in September.
